Eating well is important for children’s health. A balanced lunch will help a child concentrate better during lessons.
St Luke’s catering is provided by Citywide. Citywide only use high quality ingredients. They carefully select suppliers and use British sourced products and free range eggs.
Each day we provide two main choices and a variety of sweets. A salad bowl and bread basket are available daily. One of the main options provided daily is suitable for vegetarians. The menus run on a three weekly cycle and can be found below.
All children in Reception, Year One and Year Two are entitled to a free school meal. KS2 pay for their dinner each day using a till system. Children should bring in £2.00 per day in a purse or wallet and this must be handed to the class teacher at 9am. This is then given out to the children at lunch time by the welfare staff.
If your wish, your child may bring a packed lunch. Please ensure this is clearly marked with your child’s name and class.
Free school meals are available to children of parents who receive certain state benefits. For more information, click here.
