We are all very excited to be working with your children in their last year at St. Luke’s. This page is a great place to find ALL the information you need for the year ahead. We will update this page with pictures of your child’s learning in school throughout the year. If there is anything that we can help you with, then please do not hesitate to ask.

Please ensure that you have Seesaw as we will be uploading lots of photos and videos of all the exciting things we get up to throughout the year!
Homework for Year 6
This year pupils will be expected to
- Practise one page of 10 spellings each week. Spellings will be given out on a Friday and tested on the following Friday. These spellings will also be uploaded to Spelling Shed.
- Pupils should continue to read regularly at home (a minimum of five times a week, approximately 20-30 minutes a day), and parents should sign reading records at least once a week. Parents should check their child’s understanding by asking questions about the texts your child has chosen to read.
- In addition, this term we would like all children to regularly practise their times tables using Times tables Rocks Stars. Each child has been given their own unique username/password and this can be accessed on a smartphone, computer or tablet. You can access the site by clicking the link below.
